GET ROOTED IN YOUR FAITH
Youth today are more likely to be impacted by our culture than to impact our culture for Christ. Most are abandoning the church, the Bible, and belief in the biblical God —especially when they leave home. Many have unanswered questions about truth, their identity, God, and what the Bible teaches. Since 2007, our youth conference has been seeking to address the above problems: to ground young people in Christ, to train them to ground the truth of the Christian faith, and to reach others. We aim to help youth understand the foundations of their faith, to ground their identity in Christ, to fellowship with other believers, and to equip them to reach others. The conference includes sessions to answer their biggest questions, discussion time to dig deeper into relevant issues, worship, and fellowship/game time to develop friendships.

Frank Turek
Dr. Frank Turek is a speaker and award-winning author or coauthor of four books, including I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist with Norm Geisler. He is the president of Cross Examined, and has debated several prominent atheists including Christopher Hitchens and David Silverman, the president of the American Atheists. A former Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy, Frank holds a master’s degree from George Washington University and a doctorate from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
Brian Henson
Brian Henson is a speaker, teacher, and the creator of “Grounded,” an apologetic educational series for youth based on Norm Geisler’s “12 Points That Show Christianity Is True.” Brian is the Director of Youth Apologetics and Evangelism at Norm Geisler International Ministries, and a teacher of Bible at Charlotte Christian School. Brian holds a B.A. in Religious Studies, History, and Anthropology from East Carolina University, a Masters in Biblical Archaeology from Wheaton College, and a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. Brian also received a Doctorate of Ministry from Veritas International University.
David Geisler
Dr. David Geisler is the president and co-founder of Norm Geisler International Ministries. David co-authored the book “Conversational Evangelism,” with his late father, Norm Geisler. He teaches in various seminaries around the globe and as an adjunct professor at both of the seminaries his father founded: Southern Evangelical Seminary and Veritas International University. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master in Biblical Studies and a Master in Theology, and holds a Doctor of Ministries in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Robert Dodd
Dr. Robert Dodd, Psy. D., spent the first twenty years of his adult life as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene. Dr. Dodd earned his Doctor of Psychology in 2002 from Regent University. His dissertation was entitled, “The Relation Between Spiritual Functioning in Pastors and Perceived Stress Levels.” Dr. Dodd has served as a psychologist/therapist in a maximum security prison in Nashville, TN. He has also held the position of therapist in a child and adolescent treatment facility for sex offenders. Further, Dr. Dodd served as the Clinical Director of an adolescent treatment facility in Charlotte, NC. He also served as the Clinical Director for Rodgers Christian Counseling, in Charlotte. In January 2015, Dr. Dodd and his wife, Cindi, opened their own practice, Level Ground Christian Counseling.

Dr. Don Deal
Don is a recognized expert in scientific apologetics and Islamic studies. He is a professor of Scientific Apologetics at Veritas International University and has been studying and teaching apologetics for over twenty years. Don is the Director of Classical Apologetics at Norm Geisler International Ministries and an Associate Scholar with the scientific apologetics ministry Reasons to Believe. Don holds a Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Luther Rice University and a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. Don is currently completing a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University. Don travels with David Geisler to co-teach in bible colleges and seminaries around the globe.
